Hi, I have a dataset that contains information related to ships (name, number, homeport, design, etc). There is 1x TSV for each year from 2005-2024. I need to assemble them into a master TSV, that contains all the ships in the dataset. I need someone to write a script that will do the following: - Reads ship name and checks build year - If name and year match, prints all ship data on Master.tsv - If build years don’t match, creates 2 separate entries - If there are discrepancies from sheet to sheet, records both values (and preferable cite their origin) - Option to turn cite origin off - Year the ship is first mentioned - Year the ship is last mentioned - For ships with multiple values per field (eg moved from 1 fleet to another), list these values in a hierarchy - Automatically organized ships by type - Cross reference with another database and pull relevant information Additionally, I need to be able to run this script locally.
