The Role We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to work on a rotating shift basis, ensuring that our plant and machinery are properly maintained and operating efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance and be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Shift: Rotating shift pattern 12 - hour Shift Electrician – 5-day rotation Key Responsibilities: Identify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipment Inspect, test, and maintain machinery, equipment, electrical and electronic infrastructure in process and packaging areas Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic infrastructure and equipment Install and commission new equipment Coordinate and liaise with contractors and other staff Perform tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Area Leader or their designates We're looking for someone with: Dual instrument/electrical trade or at least electrical trade with instrument experience Full unrestricted and valid QLD Electrical Mechanics’ licence Mechanical experience highly regarded Forklift license beneficial Work at Heights and Confined Space Entry licenses (current) White card certificate Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in an industrial maintenance environment Experience with SCADA System & PLC controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens) Strong problem-solving analytical skills Excellent communication skills Hands-on approach and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Why Join Us?
