• The Opportunity
• We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team at our Bessemer, AL location. This role offers the chance to build a long-term career while supporting fire departments across Central and North Alabama and Mississippi. You will work on some of the most critical equipment in public safety—fire trucks and emergency vehicles—ensuring they perform when
• lives depend on them.

• Your Day-to-Day
• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire apparatus and related equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Repair or replace defective components, including pumps, valves, hoses, and electrical parts
• Install and upgrade specialized systems such as radios, sirens, and lighting
• Test and calibrate systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
• Complete preventive maintenance including lubrication, fluid changes, and filter replacements
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• What You Bring to the Team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy truck or emergency vehicle repair preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
• Cummins, ASE, or welding certifications a plus
• Strong understanding of truck systems including engines, drivetrains, transmissions, hydraulics, and braking
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Position Details
• Full-time, Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities
