About the Project We are looking for a skilled SEO Specialist with proven experience in optimizing e-commerce websites to improve organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and increase conversions. Our goal is to enhance both on-page and off-page SEO performance across our online store using data-driven strategies and best practices. Scope of Work Core Responsibilities: ✅ Comprehensive SEO Audit Conduct a full technical and content audit of our e-commerce platform Identify crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed bottlenecks, and UX improvements Provide actionable recommendations with priority levels ✅ On-Page SEO Optimization Optimize product pages, category pages, and landing pages for target keywords Write compelling, unique, and SEO-friendly product descriptions Craft high-converting meta titles and meta descriptions for key pages Implement proper header tags (H1-H6), image alt text, internal linking, and schema markup ✅ Keyword Research & Strategy Perform in-depth keyword research focused on buyer intent and commercial terms Build a scalable keyword map aligned with product categories and customer journey Identify opportunities for long-tail and seasonal keywords ✅ Off-Page SEO & Link Building Develop and execute a white-hat link-building strategy (guest posts, resource links, niche directories, etc.) Manage backlink outreach campaigns and track acquisition Improve domain authority and trust signals through quality external links ✅ Content & Blog Strategy Plan and implement an SEO-driven blog content calendar Write or oversee creation of blog articles targeting informational and commercial queries Use content to support product promotions, answer customer questions, and boost topical authority ✅ Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track rankings, organic traffic, CTR, bounce rate, and conversion metrics via Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) Deliver monthly performance reports with insights and next steps Ideal Candidate Requirements ✔️ Proven experience optimizing e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.) ✔️ Strong portfolio demonstrating improved rankings and traffic growth for online stores ✔️ Expertise in on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, and content creation ✔️ Experience with link-building campaigns and digital PR for e-commerce brands ✔️ Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog ✔️ Excellent written English and attention to detail (especially for product and meta copy) ✔️ Self-motivated, communicative, and able to work independently Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) 🔹 Experience with local SEO for e-commerce 🔹 Basic understanding of paid ads (Google Ads, Meta) to align SEO with broader marketing efforts 🔹 Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles What We Offer ✨ Opportunity to work on a growing e-commerce brand ✨ Long-term collaboration potential for the right candidate ✨ Clear goals and regular feedback
