Job Description: Position Description: Translates requirements for developers and testers, using Confluence, Jira, Figma, Oracle SQL, Angular, sonar, Spring MVC, XML, JavaScript, Insomnia, Selenium, and Mural. Applies behavior driven tools, using internal and external facing applications. Leverages JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for agile project management. Executes analysis for medium-sized projects. Documents requirements and creates specifications, and makes design recommendations for medium-sized projects. Primary Responsibilities: Works with business and technology partners to identify, review, define, interpret, and clarify scope of work in terms of business and system requirements and processes. Contributes to the analysis strategy for technology projects culminating in the creation of documentation to support project needs. Recommends changes to existing systems design to achieve requirements. Recommends designs for new systems based on requirements. Documents objectives, use cases, requirements, and specifications. Monitors documentation standards and best practices. Recommends traceability improvements. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope and works on multiple projects concurrently. Works directly with the user community for project definition. Communicates project plan information, objectives, and deliverables to the team. Works on complex assignments and on multiple phases of a project. Assists in defining analysis strategy. Writes business cases for review. Identifies and records risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions in accordance with project standards. Participates in the review and validation of Quality Assurance test plans to ensure requirements have been met. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics and Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and delivering application components (orchestration and high-performance) in an Agile environment. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and delivering application components (orchestration and high-performance) in an Agile environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) contributing to and implementing solutions across all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure consistency, efficiency, quality assurance, cost management, and risk management, using ServiceNow and Jira; and delivering software solutions according to Agile methodologies, security requirements, and software development best practices, using Git, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro and Jira (for delivering faster products, optimizing resource utilization, and increasing customer satisfaction). DE designing and implementing Cloud based self-service Java Web applications according to business requirements and architecture standards, using Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud based solution architecture, Angular JS, REST and SOAP APIs, and Swagger or SAP; deploying and delivering Cloud based self-service Java Web applications, using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools – Sonar, Insomnia, Selenium, and Jenkins; and monitoring Cloud based self-service Java Web applications using Datadog. DE performing business data analysis, creating customer engagement and stakeholder alignment, and presenting technical and analytical data to stakeholders to influence educated data driven decisions according to financial services standards, using Datadog, SQL queries (on Oracle database), NoSQL DynamoDB, and data warehousing. DE performing research, creation, and authorship of comprehensive business and solution requirements by identifying needs and composing story breakdowns, and defining feature lists, scope definition, use cases, acceptance criteria, effort estimation, and backlog refinements, across distributed off and onshore development teams (for delivering projects within allocated time, resources, and cost), using JIRA, JIRA Align, and ServiceNow metrics. #PE1M2 #LI-DNI Certifications: Category: Information Technology Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
