This role involves both manual and automated testing, with opportunities to contribute to automation, process improvements, and mentorship. Role Overview As a Senior QA Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and improving testing strategies while collaborating with product, development, and DevOps teams. This is a hands-on role that involves functional testing, defect management, and test automation, with a critical focus on testing CMS-based websites and content editing experiences. While experience with automation and leadership is preferred, the primary focus is ensuring high-quality software through structured testing in both the website frontend and backend content management workflows. Key Responsibilities ● CMS Testing: Ensure the functionality and usability of CMS-based websites, including testing content editing workflows, publishing processes, and user role permissions. ● Manual Testing: Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing across web, mobile applications, and CMS platforms, validating content editing and publishing processes. ● Automation Testing (Preferred): Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and CMS functionality testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman. ● Test Planning & Execution: Define test strategies, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. ● Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently. ● CI/CD & Test Integration (Preferred): Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases. ● Process Improvement: Identify gaps in testing processes, particularly for CMS-based workflows, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. ● Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and CMS administrators to align QA efforts with business objectives, ensuring smooth content management operations. ● Mentorship (Preferred): Share QA best practices and provide guidance to junior testers.
