We’re looking for an exceptional Senior PR & Influencer Manager to join MECCA on a 12-month fixed-term contract, stepping into a pivotal role leading MECCA’s earned media and influencer strategies across Australia and New Zealand. This is a unique opportunity to shape the storytelling behind one of the region’s most exciting beauty brands, partnering closely with media, creators, internal leaders, and our high-performing PR & Influencer team. In this role, you will: Lead MECCA’s PR & influencer strategies across brand campaigns, launches and business announcements. Manage and mentor a passionate team across workflow, execution, collaboration and development. Oversee media pitching, press coverage, talent partnerships, product mailers and event execution. Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, content creators and brand partners. Drive innovation in influencer, digital and press engagement while managing budgets and reporting. What You Will Bring We’re seeking a proactive, strategic and collaborative PR leader who loves beauty and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring: Significant experience (10+ years) in PR, influencer, partnerships or communications—ideally within beauty, fashion or lifestyle. Strong media and influencer relationships, with proven success driving earned coverage and creator engagement. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflow, influence stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally and deliver best-in-class work. Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitch effectively. A solutions-focused mindset, exceptional organisation, and the initiative to drive results. Experience within in-house roles, PR agencies, beauty journalism or digital marketing is highly regarded.
