We’re looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with proven experience in cloud infrastructure, network security, and automation to help audit, enhance, and optimize our hybrid network environment. You’ll work closely with our DevOps and IT security teams to secure infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments, automate key security operations, and ensure compliance with modern security standards. Key Responsibilities: Assess and improve existing network security architecture Design and implement security controls across AWS/Azure/GCP (at least one required) Automate repetitive security tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings Configure and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security best practices Document processes, policies, and configurations Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in network security engineering Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, Python, or equivalent) Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and related technologies Familiarity with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools Strong documentation and communication skills Nice to Have: Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or similar Experience in compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) Previous experience working with remote or distributed teams
