Your next career opportunity As a Senior Lecturer in Sexual Health at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of sexual health professionals. You'll play a leading role in flagship graduate education programs, including the Graduate Certificate of Sexual Health and Master of Public Health, bringing your clinical expertise to the classroom. This position offers you the chance to innovate in sexual health education, supervise research projects, and contribute to the School's commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Your responsibilities will include: Lead Graduate Subjects: Coordinate and teach key subjects such as Prevention and Control of STIs and HIV, and Clinical Sexual and Reproductive Health. Innovate in Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials, incorporating contemporary best practices in sexual health education. Enhance Student Experience: Participate in programs aimed at improving teaching quality and supporting student wellbeing and diversity. Supervise Research: Guide Master's students in their research projects, fostering the next generation of sexual health researchers. Contribute to Academic Leadership: Engage in School and Faculty initiatives, promoting the development of sexual health education across the university. You may be a great fit if: You are a registered medical practitioner with substantial clinical experience in sexual health, demonstrating a passion for education and the ability to innovate in teaching and learning practices. You may also: Be a Medical Practitioner (MBBS, MD or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration. Have demonstrated academic and clinical teaching experience in sexual health. Show initiative and innovation in educational practices. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students and stakeholders. Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Have experience in higher education, particularly in graduate-level teaching. Embody ethical scholarship and value diversity in the academic environment. Ideally have qualifications or experience in public health. For further information please refer to the attached PD.
