Role Description

Our Global Tax team serves a central part in the success of our business. We are seeking a Senior U.S. International Tax Analyst to assist the team with U.S. international tax compliance and reporting. This role will primarily involve preparation of underlying data collection and calculations that go into the international forms of the U.S. federal tax return. This role will also include tax research & analysis of tax law, assistance with various federal audits, and other special projects. A successful candidate will be able to think critically, execute existing processes, and implement new processes where applicable.

  • Collect, organize and analyze data from foreign trial balances to be used as inputs to U.S. international calculations
  • Review local foreign tax returns filed for inputs to be used in U.S. international calculations
  • Collect and organize basic entity information to be used for reporting on U.S. international tax forms
  • Understand complex international entity structure
  • Preparation of U.S. international tax workpapers
  • Assist with audit requests for items related to U.S. international tax
  • Assist with review of forms required for U.S. international tax compliance
  • Assist with special projects, including international tax legislation reform
  • Work collaboratively with international tax team members in the U.S. and third party advisers
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or foreign equivalent strongly preferred (ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
  • 2-4 years of experience in tax or accounting at an accounting firm or corporation; experience in U.S. federal and/or international tax a strong plus
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Exposure to Alteryx a plus
  • History of problem solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Other systems experience a plus including MS Office Suite and ERP systems navigation (Peoplesoft/Oracle)
