For this job we require someone with substantial senior full-stack engineering experience and demonstrated expertise hardening production systems with references available. == We need an expert full-stack engineer for 2-4 weeks (20-30 hrs/week) to make our AI fir science platform production-ready and robust. The product is an AI academic product service using multiple LLMs. Currently processing real users but needs production hardening. ## **Technology Stack** - **Backend**: FastAPI (Python 3.10+), Azure SQL, SQLAlchemy, Redis, spaCy NLP - **Frontend**: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, TailwindCSS - **Infrastructure**: Azure Web Apps, GitHub Actions CI/CD - **Integrations**: Stripe payments, Clerk auth, multiple LLM APIs ## **Immediate Needs** ### **Load Testing & Performance** - Design and execute comprehensive load testing scenarios - Identify bottlenecks - Optimize database operation ### **Production Robustness** - Review error handling and timeout systems - Optimize Azure infrastructure configuration if needed - Enhance monitoring and alerting ## **Required Experience** - **8+ years** full-stack development - **Expert Python/FastAPI** or equivalent - **Production Azure** experience - **Load testing** tools and methodologies - **High-traffic applications** optimization ## **Application Requirements** - Portfolio of production-scale applications you've optimized - Specific load testing and performance optimization experience - Azure production deployment expertise
