About the Platform Our system is a modern, microservices-based healthcare platform designed to process thousands of live patient interactions daily. It brings together: Real-time analytics and AI-driven clinical decision support Event-driven architecture managing continuous patient data streams Advanced AI integrations with OpenAI GPT-4 for generating medical insights and orders HIPAA-compliant infrastructure ensuring data privacy and security Multi-modal healthcare tools supporting scheduling, documentation, and other clinical functions Technology Stack Backend & Infrastructure: Node.js/TypeScript (core environment), MongoDB (data management), Redis (caching and sessions), NATS (messaging across 15+ microservices), Docker & Kubernetes (deployment) AI & Machine Learning: LLMs for decision support, vector embeddings for semantic search, real-time AI for medication and lab workflows Development & Quality: pnpm workspace management, Jest testing, strict TypeScript typing, and end-to-end TLS encryption Requirements 5+ years of professional backend development experience (Node.js/TypeScript) Proficiency with MongoDB and Redis Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and message brokers (preferably NATS) Skilled in Docker and microservices deployment Familiarity with REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time communication
