Accountabilities
- Lead client audit engagements from planning to final delivery, managing scope, execution, and budget.
- Supervise and mentor associates and interns throughout the audit process.
- Identify and communicate audit issues and solutions to managers or partners.
- Research and implement new audit and accounting standards, ensuring team understanding and client alignment.
- Develop a deep understanding of client operations, using this insight to guide audit procedures and train team members.
- Participate regularly in professional development and internal training initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BS/BA).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
- CPA certification or CPA exam eligibility is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proven leadership skills with experience training or supervising others.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to high-level client service.
- Experience in industries such as investment partnerships, private equity, real estate, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with personal and entity taxation is preferred, though not required.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000, with yearly merit-based increases.
