About
We have been teaching small business finance classes IRL and we are finally taking our classes online. We're calling our educational programs Numbers Lab, and it's a educational community / product we've developed to boost the business skills of manufacturing, design and creative busiensses primarily based in the U.S.. I need help with a few things: + Editing three 60-minute educational videos + Giving structure to each video module (ie: consistent intro & outro, agendas & title slides, subtitles, subtle graphics like an overlay of a formula we're studying). + Creating and editing short-form video content. The video might be something I record on the fly, or it might be editing a snippet from our live trainings (recorded via zoom) to post on Instagram. We work with a designer who has helped revamp our website (www.SkoposCollective.com) who will provide some direction as needed re: fonts, messaging, etc. However, this person should also have general business sense to ensure their own edits, etc make general sense to our target audience. I am looking for an video editor who: + Speaks English well + Has a clean and modern design aesthetic + Has AMAZING project management and communication skills + Can work quickly to turn around short-form video projects in a timely fashion (48 hours) We encourage individuals from historically marginalized and/or underserved communities to apply. Numbers Lab classes center around a sense of community, so everyone learns and shares resources and troubleshoots as a collective. The goal is to learn and grow better, together. Our Audience + Businesses who are at least 3 years in operation, or have sales over $150,000. + Makers, modern manufacturers, independent creatives, and purpose-driven businesses who view business as a force for positive change.
