  • Position Summary 
  • Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of fire system, security systems, CCTV systems and access control systems

  • About the Position 
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. 
  • * Carries out repairs on fire and security systems as directed by the schedule. 
  • * Works closely with more experienced technicians and takes direction. 
  • * Self-dispatches to sites, ensuring timely arrival to customer’s homes and businesses. 
  • * Travels as required to perform the service needs of the customer.

  • * Must have the ability to drive extended distances to/from appointments. 
  • * Must be willing and able to stay overnight in hotels, motels, or other accommodations provided by the company. 
  • * Must possess good quality customer service skills.

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
  • Education and/or Experience: 
  • * High School diploma, GED or equivalent 
  • * Alarm system installation experience prefered  
  • Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: 
  • * Valid E06 trainee card 
  • * Valid driver’s license with no more than one minor traffic infraction on record in the last three years 
  • Computer Skills:  
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: 
  • * Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook. 
  • Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time occasionally; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; Uses fingers, hands, arms when working with mouse, keyboard, monitors; Must be sufficiently flexible to crawl through attics and crawls spaces as required; Must be able to climb a ladder.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes work in a typical cubicle type office environment with overhead lighting and temperature control, and low noise levels.  The employee mostly travels from job to job in a company vehicle and will be exposed to outside environmental or on-site conditions.
