- Position Summary
- Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of fire system, security systems, CCTV systems and access control systems
- About the Position
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- * Carries out repairs on fire and security systems as directed by the schedule.
- * Works closely with more experienced technicians and takes direction.
- * Self-dispatches to sites, ensuring timely arrival to customer’s homes and businesses.
- * Travels as required to perform the service needs of the customer.

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Education and/or Experience:
- * High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- * Alarm system installation experience prefered
- Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
- * Valid E06 trainee card
- * Valid driver’s license with no more than one minor traffic infraction on record in the last three years
- Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
- * Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Physical Demands:

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time occasionally; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; Uses fingers, hands, arms when working with mouse, keyboard, monitors; Must be sufficiently flexible to crawl through attics and crawls spaces as required; Must be able to climb a ladder.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes work in a typical cubicle type office environment with overhead lighting and temperature control, and low noise levels. The employee mostly travels from job to job in a company vehicle and will be exposed to outside environmental or on-site conditions.
