This role requires the ability to respond to security incidents with professionalism, accuracy, and sound judgment. ⚠️ Please note: Prior security experience is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. A valid license to carry a firearm is also mandatory and must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment if not already held. Key Responsibilities: 🔹 Protect personnel, inventory, and premises in a secure facility 🔹 Monitor and control access to the building and restricted areas 🔹 Enforce security policies and procedures professionally and consistently 🔹 Conduct regular patrols and security checks 🔹 Maintain active firearm certification (must re-qualify annually) 🔹 Complete detailed incident and shift reports 🔹 Communicate clearly and act decisively during emergencies 🔹 Serve as a professional and reassuring presence Required Qualifications: ✔ High school diploma or GED (Criminal Justice degree a plus) ✔ Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience required (Military or law enforcement background preferred) ✔ Valid license to carry a firearm is mandatory  • If not currently held, must be obtained within 6 months of hire ✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills ✔ Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure ✔ Willingness to participate in ongoing training and annual re-certifications Compensation & Benefits: 💲 Hourly Rate: $25.00 (Base pay may vary depending on experience, region, and internal equity) ✔ Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance ✔ 401(k) Matching (after one year) ✔ Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays ✔ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs ✔ Career Development Opportunities We have many opportunities available on our other career site pages.
