• Key Responsibilities
• - Provide social-emotional learning (SEL) guidance and support to students across all grade levels (PK-8).
• - Develop and implement individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive school climate.
• - Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support students' mental health and well-being.
• - Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies within the school community.
• - Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and interventions in compliance with school policies.
• - Participate in school meetings, professional development, and student support teams.

• Requirements
• Skills and Qualifications

• - Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, School Counseling, or a related field.
• - Valid school counseling certification or license preferred, not required.
• - Proven experience working in a school environment, preferably with diverse student populations.
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
• - Knowledge of social-emotional learning strategies and mental health best practices.
• - Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• - Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
