FULL TIME PROGRAM SUPERVISOR WANTED - IS THAT YOU?
We are seeking a Program Supervisor to assist our school-age programs starting in the Fall 2025. The Program Supervisor is responsible for administrative tasks, compliance and staffing support for our school age programs and the right candidate should have at least two years experience supervising an adult team in early childhood, school age, or camp programs.
- This position is MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 6:45AM to 8:45AM and 2PM to 6PM- 6 hours daily, must be available Monday THRU Friday (total 30 hours weekly).
Requirements:
- Experience: Two years supervision of adult team in early childhood, school age or camp program
- Education/Certification: 60 credits, CDA, or Associates Degree in related field
- License: Current NJ Driver License, access to automobile and valid auto insurance
- Knowledge/Training: Childhood development and team management. Familiar with office of child care licensing requirements, age-appropriate curriculum, and continuing quality improvement tools; ability to communicate effectively to/with multiple audiences.
- Physical/Health: Must be in good physical and mental health; able to lift 20lbs.
- Professional Development: Must complete 20 hours of relevant annual training.
- Work Hours/Environment: School facilities, outdoor play areas, shopping, driving a vehicle, 25-40 hours per week; available for occasional evening/weekend hours to meet agency goals
General Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting up and down - support for Site Director with compliance and administrative tasks, as well as support for Group Leaders who are on leave, or during a time of Group Leader recruitment
- Manage administrative tasks in accordance with Office of Child Care Licensing, Child and Adult Food Program, Americans with Disabilities Act and other relevant funding or collaboration agreements
- Maintain accurate and complete confidential, attendance and CACFP records for all students
- Maintain proper and secure food, paper supplies and educational materials storage
- Enforce agency policies and procedures
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees
- In absence of a Site Director, provide direct supervision of and arbitrate differences between staff
- Maintain daily contact with program and administrative staff to discuss issues and provide/receive information
- Complete duties of a Group Leader, if needed, to fulfill ratio requirements
- Report concerns to Site or Project Director
