** Seeking Native Saudi Arabic speakers with high-quality recording equipment to record their everyday speech ** We are seeking native Saudi Arabic speaking individuals with clear and natural speech to contribute their voices to help build text-to-speech (TTS) technology. Important: - We are looking for individuals with high quality recording equipment - We are looking for native Saudi Arabic speakers - We are looking for individuals to use their conversational, every-day voice. We are not looking for "acting" or "voice-over" or "reading" voices. We are looking to capture the same voice you use when you hang out with your friends and family. - You will be working with an English-speaking manager. While you do not need to be proficient in English, you will be asked to correspond in writing in English and read English directions. Responsibilities: - Record scripted, natural speech for use in building TTS and related speech projects and products - No audio editing or processing is required. Just talk and submit! - Provide high quality recorded scripts, ensuring clarity and authenticity - Follow provided guidelines for recording Qualifications: - Clear and natural speech - Native Saudi Arabic dialect speakers - High-quality recording equipment - Commitment to delivering high-quality, unscripted speech recordings - Strong attention to detail and a passion for contributing to innovative projects Pay: $20-$70/hour. The pay is made via UpWork's hourly tracker contract. We are aiming for an audio recording efficiency rate of 1:1.5 or less, meaning that for every (1) hour you work, you'll be able to generate 40 minutes or more of audio. Feedback will be provided to ensure voice actors are working closely to the ideal efficiency rate.
