Job Description – Salesforce Buildout (Phase 1 & 2) Title: Salesforce Consultant / Developer – Sales Commissions & KPI Buildout Overview: Gallo Legal Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce consultant/developer to design and implement a sales performance system in Salesforce. This project will be phased, starting with a foundation for commission tracking using Google Sheets as the data source (Phase 1), followed by expense/KPI integrations (Phase 2). Phase 1 Scope (Core Build – High Priority): • Import commission and invoice data from Google Sheets into Salesforce. • Configure commission tracking rules: • 3.5% on paid invoices (Year 1). • 2.5% (Year 2). • 1.5% (Year 3+). • Build dashboards showing: • Sales requirements vs. actual sales (based on salary/gross margin inputs). • Commission earned (monthly, YTD). • Client-level invoice totals (pending/paid). • Generate reports for HR to run payroll (weekly/biweekly). • Create rep-facing dashboards with quota progress and commission visibility. Phase 2 Scope (Efficiency Add-Ons – Next Priority): • Integrate mileage tracking (Timeero or equivalent). • Integrate discretionary spending (Amex, Expensify). • Pull in phone (8x8) and email/calendar (O365) activity into Salesforce. • Expand dashboards to show: • Discretionary spending (monthly vs. YTD). • Additional sales required to cover discretionary spend. • ROI by expense category (client lunch, events, etc.). • Add automation: business card upload → contact creation. • Set up KPI tracker (calls, meetings, events, etc.) tied to quotas. Requirements: • Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud customization and reporting. • Experience importing and syncing Google Sheets data with Salesforce. • Strong knowledge of building dashboards, commission plans, and KPI trackers. • Familiarity with middleware tools (Zapier, Workato, etc.) and AppExchange apps. • Ability to document workflows and train end-users. Engagement Details: • Remote, contract role (freelance). • Initial scope Phase 1 (~4–6 weeks). Phase 2 to follow based on performance. • Please include examples of similar Salesforce buildouts (commissions, dashboards, expense/KPI tracking).
