- Mitch Smith Auto Service, a full-service auto-repair shop serving the local and surrounding Anderson communities, is looking for a Sales Support Advisor with a great attitude who takes pride in their work to deliver exceptional customer service to both our existing and our growing customers. In this role, you will orders parts, ensures accurate and timely parts inventory, and assists customers as needed, all while working with a great group of highly motivated and dedicated teammates.
- LOCATION: 4570 W State Road 32, Nichol Ave, Anderson, IN 46011
- EARN: $20 - $25.00 Hourly + overtime after 40 hours per week
- SHOP HOURS OF OPERATION: M-F: 8:00AM-5:00PM

Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Works with technicians, service advisors, and service manager to source parts
- Keeps technicians, Service Advisors, and manager informed on the parts delivery status
- Stocks parts inventory and ensures accurate counts
- Customer assistance when service manager and service advisors are occupied with other customers. Assistance includes answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating work orders, and invoicing customers for payment
- Makes hydraulic hoses as needed
- Other tasks: Allow no job to be too small or beneath oneself. Fill in on tasks as needed to maintain the flow of the shop. Examples could be running a shuttle, selling tickets, checking out customers, cleaning the bathroom, picking up a part, or any other task that can be safely completed which is needed.
- Any other task as assigned by Company or direct supervisor
- Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 1 or more years automobile, medium or heavy-duty truck parts experience and/or other experience that closely matches the Parts Counter responsibilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational & Focus Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
- Computer Knowledge & Ability: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use Microsoft Windows software.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English fluently, both in verbal and in written form. Math Skills: Must possess ability to count. Must know how to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) using a calculator.
