Position Overview
- The Wholesale Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the wholesale sales channel for MCM. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with key wholesale accounts, and identifying new business opportunities to expand the brand's presence in the wholesale market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve wholesale sales targets.
- Identify new wholesale opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential growth areas.
- Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key wholesale accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with wholesale partners.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and product availability across all wholesale channels.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives.
- Provide training and development to the sales team to enhance performance.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Work closely with the planning, merchandising, retail, marketing, and HQ teams to align wholesale strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to wholesale partners.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management (MCM VP of Sales + external senior management).
- Analyze sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by wholesale partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention within the wholesale channel.
- Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, products, and collections.
- Organize and lead market appointments, product knowledge presentations, and sales meetings to showcase the brand’s offerings.
- Oversee the order process from placement to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to manage inventory levels and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Deep understanding of luxury fashion markets, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
- Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics in the fashion sector.
- High level of professionalism and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on wholesale.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
