  • SUMMARY
  • Pelican Grand Beach Resort, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a dynamic Sales & Catering Coordinator professional who will perform administrative duties to help the department plan and manage events and catering services. The Sales & Catering Coordinator will have great attention to details with successful customer service, finance, organization, quick problem-solving and the ability to improve efficiency skills.

The ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Sales and Catering Coordinator will but not limited to

  • Handle Catering and Group turnovers/file set up
  • Ensure BEO's are included in the 10-day
  • Lead point of contact when any sales manager is out of the office
  • Answer calls and take inquiries
  • Input all Ocean2000 reservations into Delphi
  • Maintain and distribute: 10-day schedule, daily event listings, resumes, BEO's, and amenity requests
  • Assist the Director of Sales and Catering with managing the checkbook and invoices
  • Assist with social media postings with Regional Marketing Director
  • Update photography and permission of use from weddings hosted at the resort
  • Handle gift certificates
  • Support the General Manager and sales and catering management team in day-to-day tasks

  • Requirements

Our ideal candidate has these specific job knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Requirements
  • 2 years related Food & Beverage &/or Hotel Hospitality work experience.
  • HS graduate a must; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years excellent Microsoft & windows computer skills; canva and excel a plus.
  • Must be personable with an outgoing personality
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
