Position Summary

• * Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Minimum Education

• * Graduate of an RN Training Program
• * Completion of Basic EKG course

Preferred Education

• * Completion of a Critical Care course preferred.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

• * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications

• * Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• * Two years experience in a critical care or telemetry setting preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation

• * Current California RN license
• * BLS card (AHA)
• * ACLS certification (AHA)
• * Fire card
• * Assault Response Competency (ARC) required within 30 days of hire
