  • What You’ll Do
  • Oversee financial and accounting operations for multiple rooftops
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial statements
  • Provide analytical insights to support executive decision-making
  • Manage reconciliations, contracts in transit, and cash flow
  • Ensure full compliance with OEM and internal control standards
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 20+ accounting professionals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to align financial goals with business performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives, banks, and external partners
  • What You Bring
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Controller or Accounting Manager in a retail dealership (multi-store experience highly preferred)
  • Expert understanding of dealership accounting, manufacturer reporting, and compliance
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical ability
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS experience preferred)
  • A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Requirements
  • Prior experience in retail automotive dealership accounting management is required.
  • Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, general ledger accounting, and manufacturer reporting.
  • Experience managing cash flow, floor plan reconciliation, and tax computations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and dealership management systems (DMS).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
