You will work alongside the Manager, Sales Associates, and Designers as a team to provide our customers with an exceptional experience by answering calls, resolving customer concerns, keeping the showroom customer-ready, and some reporting items. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist customers at the sales counter in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. • Respond to questions regarding EBCO sales and return policy, La-Z-Boy warranty and service, and direct customers to the appropriate department as required. • Process payment on account transactions accurately utilizing the appropriate method of payment. • Maintain necessary office forms and supplies as required for routine store operation. • Assist sales associates and store management in running computer reports SCOPE & IMPACT: Understands and executes LZB policies and procedures and communicates this properly to customers. Utilizes computer to input comments and answer questions regarding order status, account balance, and inventory availability. Maintains professional phone etiquette, takes detailed phone messages and returns calls same day. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or GED • Efficient computer experience • 1-2 years administrative experience PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • Works well with internal and external customers • Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures with ability to apply in routine situations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Retail Store environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machine, filing and faxing OTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the incumbent for this job.
