We are Bert Builders LLC (ROC #356153), a licensed Arizona contractor specializing in Casitas & ADUs. We’re seeking a detail-oriented researcher with construction or city planning knowledge to help us evaluate properties for potential casita/ADU builds. You will work from our customer lead list (addresses) and perform: • Look up each property using Google Maps / satellite view / county assessor • Screenshot backyard / lot layouts • Enter data into Excel (lot size, visible setbacks, estimated space for ADU) • Flag if property is likely eligible for an ADU based on Arizona HB2720 law and typical city setbacks (side/rear yard requirements) • Note any obvious barriers (small lot, pool taking yard space, odd easements, etc.) ⸻ Requirements • Experience with construction, land use, or city planning (setbacks, zoning basics, permitting) • Strong research skills (Google Maps, county/city websites, GIS tools) • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (must document findings clearly) • Ability to evaluate whether a property could fit a detached ADU/casita (400–600 sq ft) • Good communication skills in English • Bonus: Familiarity with Arizona / Maricopa County city planning rules ⸻ Deliverables • Complete our list of [X] addresses (to start, ~100 properties) • Each entry will include: • Screenshot of backyard / lot view • Lot size (from county assessor data) • Notes on potential setbacks / space • “Likely Eligible / Needs Review / Not Eligible” status ⸻ Why This Matters Our sales team needs quick visual + eligibility checks so we can focus only on properties where a casita is realistic.
