Your next career opportunity As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Metabolic Proteomics and Signal Transduction Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects focused on skeletal muscle and metabolism. You will collaborate with leading experts, utilise advanced proteomics and computational biology techniques, and contribute to the understanding of motor neurone and metabolic diseases. This role offers you the chance to develop your academic profile and gain invaluable experience in a supportive and innovative environment. Your responsibilities will include Conducting Innovative Research: Participate in independent and team-based research, contributing to data collection, analysis, and publication. Engaging in Academic Development: Co-produce conference papers, attend seminars, and contribute to research grants and fellowships. Leading and Supporting: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to planning activities, and train research support staff. Promote University Values: Demonstrate and promote values of diversity, inclusion, and high ethical standards. You may be a great fit if You will have completed a PhD and possess expertise in mouse skeletal muscle physiology, molecular biology, and the ability to design and analyse experiments effectively, all while maintaining excellent communication and time management skills. You may also Be experienced in proteomic analysis and mass spectrometry techniques. Have proficiency in bioinformatics and computational biology software. Demonstrate strong skills in immunohistochemistry and cryostat sectioning. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
