- Ensure quality day-to-day operations in Rental Shop. Lead team of Rental Technicians in ensuring guests get outfitted in proper gear and all safety protocol is followed. May be asked to assume management duties in absence of Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Requirements
- Supervise daily operations in Rental Shop.
- Resolve guest issues with a positive outcome in absence of Manger.
- Assist in providing training and ensure quality guest service from staff.
- Co-ordinate group arrivals and processes.
- Lead staff in efforts to maintain a clean and neat facility.
- All duties of a Rental Technician.
- Open and close registers, follow all company policies related to cash handling.
- Manage labor, breaks and lunches in absence of Manager.
- Perform special projects as assigned by Manager or other Timberline management.
- Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming.
- Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
- Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
- Present a professional, quality image at all times.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have service-oriented personality.
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
- Must have detailed knowledge of procedures and operations involved in equipment rental.
- Must be proficient in up-selling products and services.
- Must know and follow all proper service procedures.
- Must have a working knowledge of but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Word and sales software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
- Must be able to work in tight space with balance.
- Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
