About
My goal is to create a rock-solid remote-desktop environment that lets hired remote workers log in, do their jobs, and log out—while every single file remains on our own servers. To get there I need a concise, vendor-neutral breakdown of today’s commercial remote-desktop solutions, with security as the top filter. Here is exactly what I need from you: • A short-list of leading commercial platforms (e.g., Citrix Virtual Apps, MS Azure, Awesun, AnyDesk On-Prem, Splashtop Enterprise—add others you deem relevant) including version or licensing tiers that specifically support “data never leaves the server” policies. • For each option: architecture overview, encryption standards, MFA/SSO capabilities, clipboard and file-transfer controls, recording/audit trails, and how the vendor addresses zero-trust or ISO/PCI/GDPR requirements. • Compatibility notes for a Windows Server and Active Directory environment with mixed Mac/Windows endpoints. • Ballpark licensing models and cost implications so I can forecast spend without getting locked into sales calls. • A high-level deployment and maintenance blueprint (network ports, gateway placement, MFA setup, routine patching). • A brief risk matrix spelling out what could still go wrong and the mitigations you recommend. Deliver the findings in a well-structured PDF or shared document plus a 30-minute Q&A call so I can clarify anything before making a decision.
