Responsibilities
- Leadership, Team Building & Development
- Directly lead Store Leaders, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Hire, train, and mentor store leadership teams, fostering growth mindset and employee engagement.
- Build succession pipelines and talent development across assigned markets.
- Financial, Operational & Business Performance
- Accountable for sales performance and P&L delivery across 12+ locations.
- Deliver on KPIs including sales, labor, inventory, spoilage, and shrink.
- Provide market-level reporting, analyzing trends and translating data into actionable solutions.
- Leverage labor and inventory insights to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Cafe Service & Guest Experience
- Ensure consistent execution of Foxtrot’s service and hospitality standards across all stores.
- Partner with Store Leaders to coach frontline teams on hospitality, speed of service, and brand experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, resolve escalated customer issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Openings & Facilities
- Lead 3+ new store openings annually, ensuring operational readiness (hiring, training, ordering, licensing, inspections).
- Partner with Development & Facilities teams to ensure stores are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
- Communications & Partnerships
- Serve as primary liaison between Store Leaders and Support Center functions.
- Cascade company-wide initiatives into market-level execution.
- Requirements
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 10+ years of progressive retail, restaurant, or hospitality management, including 5+ years in multi-unit leadership.
- Proven oversight of 12+ locations across multiple geographies.
- Strong track record of delivering financial, people, and operational results in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
- Café/coffee experience and new store opening expertise required.
- Leadership & People Management
- Demonstrated ability to lead through organizational change, including direct and indirect leadership structures.
- Success in building talent pipelines and future leaders through succession planning and development.
- Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and fostering inclusive, engaged teams.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, collaborating effectively across all levels.
- Business Operations & Systems
- Proven financial acumen with experience managing 12+ multi-unit operations and full P&L accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in labor, inventory, and reporting to optimize performance and reduce shrink.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights that balance financial rigor with customer experience and culture.
- Cross-functional & Strategic Leadership
- Experience partnering with HR, Marketing, Culinary, Merchandising, and Finance to deliver holistic results.
- Ability to shift seamlessly between tactical in-store execution and strategic market scaling.
- Proactive in shaping customer service standards, market-level strategies, and operational improvements.
- High integrity, resilience, adaptability, and urgency in execution.
