Job Post: Reddit AMA Strategist & Community Manager (Healthcare/Education) Job Title: Reddit AMA Strategist & Community Manager (Healthcare/Education) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Reddit AMA strategist to help us plan, structure, and execute a high-quality AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) session for a fast-growing healthcare organization. Your role is to set up the entire AMA from A to Z — including planning, content creation, compliance-safe wording, community engagement, and coordination with the professional who will be answering the questions live. This is not a typical social media role. We need someone who understands Reddit culture, AMA best practices, and how to drive meaningful engagement in medical/health-related communities without crossing into medical-advice territory. Responsibilities: • Research relevant subreddits and determine the best community for the AMA • Communicate with subreddit moderators to secure AMA approval • Draft the AMA title, description, introduction, and posting format • Prepare a list of 30–50 pre-written responses for anticipated questions • Create a structured plan for the live AMA session • Manage the AMA during the event (formatting, engagement, pacing, highlighting questions) • Ensure all engagement stays within Reddit rules and healthcare communication guidelines • Provide a post-AMA summary for repurposing into additional content Requirements: • Proven experience running Reddit AMAs (please include examples) • Strong understanding of Reddit culture, formatting, and engagement strategy • Excellent writing skills — clear, professional, concise • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or professional-services communication • Ability to pre-structure Q&A responses • Familiarity with compliance-safe language (no medical advice, no diagnoses, no prescriptions) • Highly organized and able to manage timelines • Comfortable coordinating with executives or clinicians who will be answering questions live Nice-to-Have Skills: • Background in digital marketing, journalism, PR, or Reddit community management • Experience with reputation building, authority positioning, or thought-leadership campaigns • Ability to repurpose AMA content into: • blogs • LinkedIn posts • email content • FAQs Project Timeline: • Planning & preparation: 5–7 days • AMA execution: 1–2 hours live + follow-up moderation • Post-AMA summary: 1 day How to Apply: Please include: 1.
