Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity. Pay Range: $22.00 - $31.90 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 What You’ll Be Doing Responsible for collecting on charged-off loans made by the Credit Union or resolving delinquency on vehicle loans where timely payments are not being received. Provide direct assistance to our Members by working with them to identify the true cause of non-payment in order to provide personalized options. Position may focus on one or more of the functions described below (Charge-Off or Repossession). Charge-Off Functions Work on charged-off loans through inbound/out-bound calls, written and electronic correspondence, and other approved methods. Responsible for working specialized queues for defaulted repayment plans. Work with our Members and 3rd parties to set up repayment plans, negotiate settlements, re-establish Membership services, and perform account maintenance in order to accurately reflect the approved arrangements. Review charged-off loans for possible collection agency placement. Partner with team and management to refer accounts for litigation review. Assist management and team with miscellaneous projects and reporting including 1099-C tax form filings, monthly audits, and collection agency placements. Repossession Functions Works on delinquent vehicle loans through inbound/out-bound calls, written and electronic correspondence, and other approved methods. Responsible for working specialized queues for vehicle loans. Reviews accounts to generate Final Demand Letters, Notices of Intent to Sell, and Deficiency Balance letters. Reviews accounts for repossession efforts and assists with reinstatement requirements. Handles impounded vehicles and follows up as needed. This includes contacting tow yards and government agencies, negotiating fees, and handling Lien Objections and disposition paperwork. Reviews, audits, and submits for approval vendor invoices. Assists management and team with monthly audits and reports, as needed. Additional Job Functions Performs other duties as assigned Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties.
