Serving as the first point of contact at our Maingate Office Complex, the receptionist provides essential support to the Disney Live Entertainment departments. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for visitors, vendors, and staff, contributing to the overall excellence and efficiency of our team. This is a casual regular (part-time) hourly role that will report to the Design Resource Manager. What You Will Do Welcome and assist visitors, vendors, and guests upon arrival Manage incoming calls by directing them to the appropriate department and taking messages when required Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and kitchen areas Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and emails as needed Provide administrative support to staff with daily operational tasks Required Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated expertise in operating multi-line phone systems Proficient in processing invoices Skilled in receiving, sorting, and routing mail, packages, magazines, periodicals, and related items Experienced in maintaining and ordering office and kitchen supplies; performing additional clerical duties as required Adept at managing package delivery services, including coordination, receipt, and requests for deliveries Competent in scheduling and maintaining conference rooms Capable of assisting Cast Members with Video Teleconference (VTC) issues Able to provide support to Cast Members and departments as needed Adaptability to work in an office environment and a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed Required Education High school degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and intense environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Demonstrates dependability, organizational skills, and proficiency in written and verbal communication Ability to take initiative and follow tasks through to completion Ability to have and maintain a polished, professional demeanor Bilingual proficiency is a plus Additional Information Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
