I am building a React Native Expo driver app connected to a Django backend. I vibe code the early versions myself for speed, then bring in experienced developers to clean up the codebase, fix navigation and state issues, and help push the project toward production quality. I am now at the point where I want to bring on a reliable long-term developer or small dev team to work with me. The first milestone focuses on polishing the existing app. Tasks include fixing sticky navigation and state transitions, ensuring the app loads into the correct Offline and Online views, adding proper back navigation, cleaning up API configuration and type safety, and building a simple profile and logout flow. The core app structure is already in place and the happy path works, but these areas need refinement and cleanup. Long term, this project will evolve into a full driver operations platform that includes trip flows, compliance screens, routing logic, real-time tracking, scheduling integrations, and future expansion across multiple states. I plan to continue building fast prototypes and then handing off work for stabilization, refactoring, and production hardening. I am looking for developers who understand React Native, Expo Router, TypeScript, and REST integrations, and who can work iteratively through GitHub branches and pull requests. This is an ongoing role for someone who can help refine what I build, improve architecture, and support long-term development as new phases roll out.
