Let’s get the bad news out of the way first: The budget is lean. This isn’t an enterprise salary SEO role. If you’re looking for $10K retainers, this isn’t it. SEO at scale isn’t always glamorous. Some days you’ll be elbow-deep in audits, schema markup, and backlink cleanup. Now for the good stuff: You’ll own it. This is a chance to take a site with a foundation (tens of thousands of visitors, thousands of pages indexed) and put your stamp on it. And if you do well, you get PROFIT SHARE! WOOT WOOT! We aren’t big on stress. We focus on clear communication, trust, and getting it right the first time. You’ll see your work matter. This isn’t SEO buried in a corporate site—you’ll see your changes move rankings, leads, and revenue in real time. Mission-driven brand. We hire college students, donate 1% of revenue to nonprofits and scholarships, and are expanding nationwide. What we’re looking for: You’ve run SEO before—whether freelance, in-house, or agency—and can show wins. You can run the whole stack: technical SEO, content strategy, on-page, off-page, analytics. You’re detail-obsessed: no broken links, no lazy redirects, no fluff content. You’re proactive: you bring recommendations, not just reports. You can collaborate with writers, devs, and marketing to push projects through. You’re curious and always learning—because SEO changes every month. Bonus points if you: Have experience with WordPress, Elementor, and schema markup. Have scaled local SEO for service businesses. Love experimenting with programmatic SEO. In short: Your job is to take SEO off our founder’s plate and run with it. That means spotting issues, testing fixes, building a long-term strategy, and making UniMovers the #1 search result for our keywords in every market we operate. Our company is casual, but we do expect professionalism, reliability, and results. And yes, we’ll pay you—not in “exposure,” but in real money (details depend on experience and scope, we’re flexible).
