  • Description
  • Role: This position is under the Branch Operations Department, delivering dedicated Quality Assurance support to uphold compliance, accuracy and operational standards.
  • Work Type: Full-time, on-site
  • Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in routine quality reviews and audits of branch and operational processes to ensure compliance with Blaze’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Document audit results and maintain accurate records of review findings, corrective actions, and follow up outcomes as received.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standardized procedures and jobs aids to promote accuracy and consistency across branches.
  • Assist with identifying errors, trends, and root causes; communicate findings to the Director of Branch Operations and Service Experience.
  • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity when handling all Quality Assurance investigations, documentation and financial information.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring quality reports and summaries as directed.
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of core systems updates, releases, and process changes to ensure accuracy and functional integrity prior to deployment.
  • Other Duties
  • Must be willing to travel to all Blaze locations
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate the changing needs of the credit union and will require occasional night and/or weekend work. Regular in-office attendance required for this position.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

  • Requirements
  • Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses
  • You have a minimum High School degree or GED (required)
  • You have two (2) to three (3) years of branch experience, with a strong understanding of day-to-day banking operations and delivering excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and internal compliance standards, including BSA, Reg CC, Reg D, Privacy, and OFAC
  • Proficient in Fiserv DNA core banking system
  • Demonstrated Knowledge
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulatory requirements in day-to-day review and audit work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and process deviations in complex financial data.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Knowledge of core systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in documenting findings and creating clear, actionable reports for leader review.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Communication Skills
  • Ability to proactively respond to staff inquiries regarding policies and procedures and provide education and clarification when needed.
  • In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with Blaze staff and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs.

  • We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.
  • The salary range for this position is: $27.22 - $30.25/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
