Since its incorporation in 1970 as a small resort town, the City of Panama City Beach has grown into a vibrant coastal hub with over 19,000 residents. Known for being the “Home of the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches,” our city hosts over 5 million visitors each year who flock to our family-friendly destination. In its 54 years, the City has developed into a dedicated organization of nearly 500 employees working within a Council-Manager form of government.
