• Correctional medicine is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s mental health professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned skills and knowledge on a daily basis. Correctional health care is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Inpatient Psychiatry, serving an often underserved and extremely diverse patient population.

• We are currently looking for a part-time Psychiatrist to share time weekly working on-site with our mental health teams at the Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse, NY, the Onondaga County Correctional Facility in Jamesville, NY and the Hillbrook Juvenile Detention Center in Syracuse, NY.

• This is a up to 24.0 hour per week position worked Monday - Friday normal business hours shared between the three county facilities.

• Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, rate range: $150.00 - $250.00

• Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine, specialty in Psychiatry.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Licensed to practice Psychiatry within the State of New York.
• Maintain current DEA
• Maintain current Driver’s License.
