I need advice on how to prune an Asian Pear. - The tree grew a lot in recent years and had several long drooping branches that leaned the whole tree in one direction. - Gardener staked the tree because it was leaning. - Fruit weight this past summer broke off several of the branches. Besides pruning advice I am looking for advice on whether the staking was correct (and if not how to correct it) and how long it should stay in place to form a stable trunk.
