Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is growing! Based in Jeffersonville, Indiana near downtown Louisville, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our development team. This is an entry level position, with the opportunity for advancement within the development division.

Denton Floyd is well-capitalized and has a proven record of year over year growth. We run a successful construction and commercial development division, in addition to property management. This position will be in the Development division, not the Construction division.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review documents for accuracy- estimates, POs, budgets, fixture schedules, equipment schedules and other construction/finish related items.
  • Create and maintain a detailed project list for each construction project in the design phase.
  • Coordinate/track design change requests for construction projects.
  • Create meeting agendas, assign tasks, distribute meeting minutes, follow up to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Develop effective working relationships with employee-owners at all levels of the company in support departments, field operations, business development, as well as with external design partners and vendors.
  • Assist other Team Members as needed.
  • Assist in the development and approval of all interior finish schedules, property amenities, FFE, and other items as required.
  • Organize and maintain job specific electronic files to compile all project specific documents and ensure all are updated in real time.
  • Travel to job sites and design partners in the Louisville area as required.

Qualities Desired in a Successful Candidate:

  • Bachelor degree (preferred).
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
  • Interest in creation and development of ground up multi-family projects.
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Computer and technology savvy; ProCore a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility to work in a fluid environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of accountability and ownership.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
