  • Summary
  • The Program Coordinator plays a key role in managing and overseeing various community-focused initiatives. They work closely with volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure these programs run smoothly, addressing local needs and providing resources and support to vulnerable populations. The role involves coordinating logistics, tracking outcomes, and promoting engagement to positively impact the community.

  • Program Management & Case Coordination
  • Manage intake forms and relevant data entry for all program participants, ensuring timely processing and prioritization of cases.
  • Provide case management services, and collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Coordinate resources, advocate for program participants, and engage with local agencies, officials, and partners to enhance program impact.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record system, track participant progress and services, and ensure accurate documentation of activities and financial records.
  • Participate in team meetings, committees, and community initiatives to represent the organization and ensure that all needs are addressed on time.
  • Program Outreach & Partnership Development
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local businesses, social service agencies, churches, and community organizations to expand program resources and opportunities.
  • Work to engage volunteers, build new partnerships, and foster collaborations that enhance the effectiveness and reach of programs.
  • Administrative & Logistical Support
  • Maintain accurate records, case management documentation, and spreadsheets for all programs.
  • Assist with program scheduling, volunteer coordination, and developing reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with funding and reporting requirements, working with internal teams to manage budgets and track expenses.

  • Proficient in Google Suite; knowledge of Asana and Slack preferred.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Fulfill the required work hours per week during regular office hours.
  • Serve as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
  • Ability to positively represent the ministry of Austin Disaster Relief Network, including its vision and mission statement, and core values, to all constituencies.
  • Ability and willingness to deploy as required.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities for volunteers.
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • This position is an in-office position. Hybrid may be available.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Employees may be required to participate in efforts when the organization is supporting active response, which may require additional hours worked in a variety of weather conditions and additional travel.

  • Work Authorization
  • Employees must be authorized to work in the United States under Federal requirements.
  • Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience.
  • Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Experience with case management.
  • Experience with long-term discipleship.
  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector.
