MCHC is looking for a Program Assistant for the Nursing Department to provide vital administrative and operational support to our Nursing Department. - What You'll Do
As the Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Nursing Department running smoothly by
- Supporting the development and coordination of nursing programs including Core Competency, Employee Wellness, and Infection Prevention.
- Maintaining departmental records, updating databases, and generating reports.
- Coordinating and tracking compliance, training, onboarding, and recognition initiatives.
- Assisting with accreditation preparation, audits, and candidate interview logistics.
- Supporting meetings with agenda prep, note-taking, and follow-ups.
- Traveling to multiple clinic sites as needed.

- Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree and at least 2 years of administrative experience in a professional setting, preferably in healthcare (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing databases
- Background in healthcare in a clinical role (MA) or administrative support position.
