Position Summary: The role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations – a recognized expert in the areas to which assigned. Operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Team Members must work together to ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to support site objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with GMP’s, food safety, quality and production controls.
  • Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually.
  • Review production records for accuracy and ensure all records are maintained properly.
  • Ensure sanitation, housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the production room is in compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform activities in compliance with all customer and government regulations (USDA, FDA).
  • Expected to work the required hours needed to execute the duties and responsibilities of the Production Worker position.
  • Knows and follows all safety requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of the department.
  • Ensures that all details of a task are accomplished properly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 1-2 years prior manufacturing experience.
  • Follows existing policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Identifies and reports quality concerns.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to stand for 8–10-hour shifts.
