BASIC PURPOSE

• · Coordinate material distribution for all shifts within the Molding Department

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Utilize the production schedule to plan and stage material for all shifts within the Molding Department
• · Interact with Warehouse to coordinate material movements and maintain inventory accuracy
• · Maintain lot control of raw materials on the production floor
• · Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot material handling equipment such as dryers, loaders, and concentrate feeders
• · Perform material audits on production floor
• · Proficient on forklift and promote safety
• · Interact with material handlers, set-up technicians, process technicians and scheduling to meet production demands
• · Must be able to work outside normal working hours, overtime or alternate shifts to accommodate production needs when required.

NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Clean Hoppers
• · Empty runner bins
• · Material returns
• · Walk through - Top offs
• · Pre-dry Materials
• · Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
• · HS diploma or GED required
• Experience
• · 5-10 years in plastic injection molding
• Skills
• · Ability to communicate with internal customers. Good organizational skills.
• · Ability to move materials / lifting / bending / reach overhead
• · Ability to use equipment such as forklift, motorized pallet jack, hand tools
