Overview: I’m building a data-dense B2B SaaS platform for restaurant purchasing optimization (price comparison, SKU mapping, ordering plans). I need a product-minded Brand + UI Designer to create a tokenized, implementation-ready brand system in Figma and deliver realistic app screens that reflect high information density. This is brand system + product UI work, not a logo-only project. Scope & Core Deliverables: You will design a brand and UI foundation that is ready for a modern design-token workflow. 1. Brand & Identity -Primary logo and compact mark suitable for app chrome and avatars. -Color system (core + semantic + states) with WCAG AA/AAA proofs for key use cases (tables, alerts, buttons, chips, tags). -Typography scale and hierarchy tuned for table-heavy and form-heavy interfaces. 2. Iconography & Motion -Coherent icon set for core actions and statuses (ingestion, mapping, confidence, savings, vendor selection, etc.). -Lightweight motion rules: durations, easing, and usage guidelines for a dense, professional UI. 3. Design Tokens & Figma Variables -Set up Figma variables for colors, typography, spacing, radii, shadows, and motion, organized by semantic intent. -Provide a JSON export of the token set suitable for handoff to engineering (structure agreed together upfront). 4. Specimen App Screens (High-Fidelity) Design at least 5 realistic product screens that demonstrate how the system handles density and hierarchy: -Ingest Runs table – file imports, statuses, timestamps, errors. -SKU Mapping – mapping with confidence indicators and UOM handling. -Weekly Plan with steppers – guided weekly ordering workflow. -Single vs Two-Vendor Recommendation – comparative pricing, savings, and trade-offs. -Lite Dashboard – key KPIs (savings, coverage, data freshness, exceptions). These should feel like real production UI for busy restaurant operators and finance/ops teams, not portfolio-only visuals. ___ Preferred Extended Scope (Nice-to-Have, Not Required): If you have strong product/UX skills, I’d also like you to: 1. Design a guided first-time user experience (FTUE): -Setup wizard to get from “new account” to first actionable recommendation. -CSV header-mapper with dropdowns to map vendor file columns to system fields. -Quick-Map pattern for resolving unmapped SKUs/UOMs. -Review/export screen before committing data or generating orders. 2. Build a foundational component library in Figma: -Tables, filters, inputs, dropdowns, chips, tags, steppers, banners, toasts, modals, etc. -Document states (default, hover, active, error, disabled) and basic responsive behavior.
