Headquartered in Woodland Hills, CA, Venbrook operates nationwide. POSITION SUMMARY As a Producer in the Student Insurance division, you own growth and retention within a defined territory. You build relationships with K-12 districts and higher-ed institutions. You lead discovery, proposals, close, and seamless handoff to service. You coordinate with carriers and internal teams to deliver student-focused solutions across health, accident, international, travel, dental, vision, telehealth, and related lines. You represent Venbrook with a consultative approach that prioritizes outcomes for students, schools, and stakeholders. JOB SUMMARY You drive new business and expand existing relationships across K-12 and higher-ed (community, junior, and technical colleges). Key contacts include superintendents, risk managers, benefits leaders, student affairs, health center directors, athletic directors, and purchasing or board committees during RFPs. Success looks like meeting new business targets, 100%+ retention on assigned accounts, a 3x pipeline vs. goal, strong quote-to-bind conversion, and clean CRM with next steps and dates on every opportunity. Travel up to 50% for prospecting meetings, sales presentations, service discussions, conferences, and events. PRODUCT PORTFOLIO • Student Health (SHIP) • International Student Health • Study Abroad Health • Student & Athlete Accident • K-12 Student Accident • International Travel • Student Dental • Student Vision • Student Telehealth • Pet Insurance for Students DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Sales and New Business • Build and execute a territory plan, including manual market research and data tracking. • Run prospecting cadences through calls, email, events, and referrals. • Map decision makers, budget cycles, and procurement rules by district and campus. • Lead discovery on enrollment needs, claims trends, waiver workflows, and service gaps. • Coordinate with carriers and program partners on pricing and strategy. • Present proposals with timelines, outcomes, and service model. • Negotiate terms and close. Renewals, Retention, and Client Growth • Lead stewardship meetings and annual reviews. • Analyze utilization and claims to recommend plan adjustments. • Cross-sell additional lines based on need and timing. • Protect and expand relationships across district and campus stakeholders. RFP and Proposal Management • Manage end-to-end RFP response and submission. • Align response content with buyer priorities and compliance requirements. • Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure complete, on-time submissions. Collaboration and Administration • Partner with Client Managers to orchestrate implementations and day-to-day service. • Align with Marketing on campaigns, collateral, conferences, and events. • Maintain CRM accuracy for pipeline, forecasting, and activities. • Share competitor intelligence and market feedback with leadership.
