While reporting to the Machinery Manager as the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the process improvements, conducting studies and making recommendation about continuous process control improvements which enhance productivity and improve quality within the plant. What You’ll Be Doing: Providing plant leadership for manufacturing control strategies Developing capital authorization requests and managing capital projects Utilizing Six Sigma and TQM tools to enhance productivity and reduce scrap Create, maintain, and interpret necessary documentation, including standard operating procedures, process specifications and control charts, to benchmark and enhance processes. Create and monitor KPIs throughout production, identifying areas for improvement and resolving issues in a timely manner Design and plan processes, determine equipment layouts for optimal workflow and safety in the production environment Developing improvement action plans based on the audits and managing the implementation of those plans Provide support to maintenance systems within the plant. Establish, maintain and enforce safety procedures and requirements We’d love to hear from you if: You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience) Good communication and technical sills Good business and technical skills.
