• Position Summary

• The Powder Coating Technician is responsible exclusively for the application of powder coating to speaker components. This position focuses on operating powder coating equipment, coating parts to specification, and ensuring a high-quality finish. All preparation or taping work is performed by another team — this role is strictly powder coating application.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate powder coating spray guns to apply powder to speaker components.
• Ensure consistent and even coverage according to color, texture, and finish specifications.
• Load coated parts into the curing oven and monitor cure cycles (temperature/time).
• Inspect coated parts after coating and curing to ensure finish quality (coverage, texture, thickness).
• Adjust spray gun settings, air pressure, powder flow, and spray patterns based on part requirements.
• Track powder usage and report low inventory to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of spray booth area and comply with all safety and 5S standards.
• Required Qualifications
• 3+ year of powder coating experience preferred.
• Ability to understand color and finish quality expectations.
• Ability to stand throughout shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Preferred Experience
• Experience using manual powder coating spray guns (Nordson, Wagner, Gema, etc.).
• Experience measuring coating thickness with gauges.
