Your next career opportunity  As a Research Fellow in Professor Marta Garrido's laboratory at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll be at the forefront of computational cognitive neuroscience and brain imaging research. Working within the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC), you'll contribute to groundbreaking projects in OP-MEG and Bayesian computations. This role offers you the chance to collaborate with leading researchers, mentor students, and shape the future of cognitive neuroscience through innovative research. Your responsibilities will include:  Conduct Cutting-edge Research: Deliver high-quality studies in OP-MEG and computational neuroimaging. Develop New Research Ideas: Align innovative concepts with OP-MEG research and Bayesian computational principles. Produce Impactful Publications: Author peer-reviewed journal articles and present at relevant conferences. Mentor Future Scientists: Assist in supervising honours and postgraduate research projects. Secure Research Funding: Identify and apply for future funding opportunities to support ongoing research. You may be a great fit if:  You are a passionate cognitive neuroscientist with a strong background in computational methods and brain imaging, demonstrating excellent research skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment. You may also:  Hold a PhD in cognitive neuroscience or a related field. Have experience analysing brain imaging or electrophysiological data. Possess strong computational skills and proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab). Demonstrate excellent communication skills for articulating research in presentations and publications. Show a track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences. Ideally have experience with OP-MEG data collection, analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
